SPT-30 Stress Path Triaxial Apparatus

The SPT-30 Stress Path Triaxial Apparatus is used to determine the shear strength, deformation characteristics, and pore water pressure of soil specimens under constant-strain-rate loading. It can perform Unconsolidated-Undrained (UU), Consolidated-Undrained (CU), and Consolidated-Drained (CD) tests. The apparatus is controlled by a microcontroller; the keyboard allows setting and starting/stopping of cell pressure and back pressure, and controls the shearing of the triaxial frame with continuously variable shear rates. The system consists of three main parts: the loading frame, the control cabinet, and accessories (sensors, pressure cells, saturators, split molds, membrane stretchers, soil trimmers, compactors).
